Are Kids’ Wired Differently?

Students have always faced distractions in and out of the classroom. Nowadays, computers and cell phones pose new challenges to focusing and leaning. How can young people learn in this sea of cell phones and computers? Are their brains wired differently?

CMCH Director, Dr. Michael Rich, argues that kids’ are wired differently and “their brains are rewarded not for staying on task but for jumping to the next thing.” More importantly, their digital diets may impact the way they focus and learn.
