In Saturday’s NY Times there was an article about the future of the web, where the authors predicted that meaning will be added to users’ questions and a search engine’s results. Here at CMCH, we are already offering this service for our Database of Research! Our Smart Search option allows parents and researchers to ask a question about media and health in their own words, without needing to understand how keywords and search engines work.
Some recent questions from real users include:
- Can parents prevent children from experiencing unwanted effects of violent television?
- Does watching TV lead to obesity?
- Does media literacy improve health choices?
- How does sexual programming effect children?
Try out Smart Search for yourself — Enter one of the questions above or try your own!
