On Monday, a survey of parents was released showing that children’s media use is the number one concern of parents.  57% of the 1,138 parents who participated said that they were "concerned" or "strongly concerned" about the time their kids spend with media outlets such as television, Internet, and video games.

Media ranked highest on the list of worries for their children compared to struggling in school (55%), developing a weight problem (46%), engaging in sexual behavior (45%), and using alcohol (45%).
